I wanna know when we are going ot get the movies as the Americans get them?
Like I haven't even HEARD of a lot of these movies.

Brokensword...I think we need to write for television.
The future of television in SA is enormous what with 18 different groups applying for PAYTV. There will be such a demand for localy produced stuff.
So why not lets hook up your Snoek story as a television production, sell it to the highest bidder and MAKE MONEY.

The thing thing with televission is that it is not a once off thing. You would have to write like a couple of episodes. I see the pilot of a mad balck woman wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big city and settles in a small town on the west coast as their director of tourism. Each episode would explore the funny and weired goings on of a small town, we will call it Weskus Dorpie. How many episodes could you squeeze out of this? We need more research. The language thing, is one episode and it recurs every so often. The tourists could be a standing thing where we explore why poeple go there and how they arhe dissapointed and fulfilled. There would have to be a bar or coffee shop or general dealer where everone goes and where all other characters feature.

Okay, thinking about this too much already! Is this how we get these crappy tv shows on tv?
